Muses Sze Mei Ting is an artist based in Hong Kong. She graduated from the Fine Arts Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. In 2014, She was awarded International Master\u2019s Bursary and studied MFA at the University of Reading (UoR), then obtained her Master’s Degree of Fine Arts in 2016. Since 2021, she has curated a project- ”The Workshop Guide to Ceramics by Hong Kong Ceramics Artist”, combining the research of Hong Kong ceramics art with a practical guide to ceramics. She now teaches the ceramics course in HKSC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sze focuses on the characteristics and texture of ceramics, “reproducing” various objects, thereby reconstructing the unusual order and relationship between objects. She has studied the knowledge of ceramics materials and different making and firing techniques, which helps her to understand and extend the potential of sculptural ceramics. Plants are always the inspiration for her to explore new forms as the \u300aArtificial Flower\u300b series. She develops her own craftsmanship that repeated actions by hand-building are the process of thinking and calming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u65bd\u6c0f\u7684\u5275\u4f5c\u8457\u91cd\u9676\u74f7\u7269\u6599\u7684\u7279\u6027\u548c\u8cea\u611f\u5448\u73fe\uff0c\u5c07\u5404\u7a2e\u7269\u4e8b\u300c\u518d\u73fe\u300d\u6210\u5e73\u9762\u548c\u7acb\u9ad4\u4f5c\u54c1\uff0c\u85c9\u6b64\u91cd\u69cb\u7269\u4e8b\u9593\u4e0d\u5c0b\u5e38\u7684\u79e9\u5e8f\u8207\u95dc\u4fc2\u3002\u5979\u6301\u7e8c\u5b78\u7fd2\u9676\u74f7\u539f\u6750\u6599\u7684\u77e5\u8b58\u3001\u5404\u7a2e\u7684\u88fd\u4f5c\u548c\u71d2\u88fd\u6280\u8853\uff0c\u9019\u6709\u52a9\u5979\u4f38\u5ef6\u9676\u74f7\u96d5\u5851\u7684\u53ef\u80fd\u6027\u3002\u800c\u690d\u7269\u4e00\u76f4\u662f\u5979\u63a2\u7d22\u65b0\u5f62\u614b\u7684\u9748\u611f\u4f86\u6e90\uff0c\u5982\u300a\u4eba\u9020\u82b1\u300b\u7cfb\u5217\u3002\u5979\u958b\u767c\u8457\u81ea\u5df1\u7368\u6709\u7684\u5de5\u85dd\uff0c\u88fd\u4f5c\u4e2d\u91cd\u8907\u7684\u52d5\u4f5c\u662f\u5979\u601d\u8003\u548c\u5e73\u975c\u7684\u904e\u7a0b\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
